Making Money with Your Blog!

A place for finding the Nuts and Bolts for Making Money Online with Affiliate Marketing Business Opportunity!

One of the most important aspects of your website is the creativity you inject into it that attracts visitors and return readers. To place yourself ahead of the competition in Internet based businesses you need to stand out, be a bit different than all the other blogs and sites out there. Your marketing techniques should be creative as well as your content. Combined, you have two strong leads that will carry you ahead of others in internet marketing.

There are many methods and techniques used by marketing sites today, yet some stand out in a away others don't and can provide an extra boost in traffic and popularity for your site. One very powerful technique is called viral marketing.

While the term viral tends to make one think of a virus, something all computer owners avoid like the plague, it is actually a good virus. You do not use a computer virus to spread your business; you use the viral power to spread the word from one person to another, just as an actual virus spreads itself.

Viral Marketing Overview

Viral marketing or, as it is otherwise known, viral advertising is a marketing tool used to build the public awareness of one's product or company. For internet marketing it uses many forms of online media to reach out to the public without actually promoting the product. How does it accomplish this? It does so by facilitating and encouraging people to pass along a marketing message. It may be done through video clips, ebooks, reports, email how-to courses, brandable software, and even images in which you include information about your product or service and a link to your website or squeeze page. Basically the idea works on the premise that if people like the content of a media they will pass it on to their friends and family. When this media carries your company or product info it gets passed along in the process, delivering your message and branding your company and product in the process to many other people.

Viral marketing has become so popular because it is relatively inexpensive to create and deliver. To avoid being tagged as spam mail, viral marketing counts on the eagerness of one person to pass the media on to another who accepts and reads the email due to the personal relationship with the individual who sent it.

Using Viral Marketing to Your Advantage

The most obvious advantage of viral marketing is that you get a lot of publicity and public awareness for your product, your name and your company for very little expense and effort. As a result you generate a flow of traffic of potential customers. With creativity and imagination, plus an incentive that appeals to the market you are trying to reach, you can capture quite a bit of attention.

Viral marketing is not new but is used in new ways online everyday. Brainstorm your marketing techniques so that you can put a viral delivery method out there with an ebook, a report, or whatever product or message you can deliver. Then sit back and watch the wonders viral marketing can do for you.

So you want to know what all the hype about keywords and keywords tools is all about? This article will attempt to provide a high level overview of what keywords are and why keyword tools can be very useful for different types of activities.

Keywords are just that, keywords. These words could be used to identify an object, a product, a person, a service or many other things. Coffee and Tea are keywords. A keyphrase is one pair or more keywords together, Coffee + House and Starbucks + Coffee + House are keyphrases. When you need to communicate with another person and you want to speak about something specific, you throw in a keyword or key phrase so that they understand what your talking about.

Keywords are the fuel that keeps Search engines, like Google, Yahoo and MSN Live, running. When you talk to a search engine, by performing a search not speaking into your computer, the search engine uses the keywords that you type in to figure out what you are searching. The search engine will sort through all of its stored information, which could be billions of pages of content, and return what it believes is what you are searching for. These results will be ranked by the most relevant to the least relevant. Now your results will depend on the keywords or keyphrases you used to perform the search. Heres where it becomes interesting.

What you, I and the search engine think are relevant keywords to a specific topic may be very different ideas. For example, someone who quilts could be looking for quilting supplies. This person types quilt into the search engine and receives results totaling more than 15 million. The first result is a website that has used quilts for sale. Not what the user had in mind when searching for quilt supplies. This is where Keyword tools become very helpful and interesting.

Using a keyword tool could assist both, the person searching for something and the web or web content designer develop content. How, by using actual hard data to bridge the gap between what people are actually searching for everyday and what we think or guess people are searching for. Keyword tools come in many shapes and sizes. Some are web based others are desktop applications. The cost also vary. So are free, some require one time charges and others are subscription based. Please note that using keyword tools will likely yield different results based on the specific tools and techniques that are used. These tools and techniques are beyond the scope of this article, however if you are seeking more of this type of information, visit the website listed at the end of this article.

Now, on the surface having this ability via keyword tools may not seem like much but beneath the surface and with the right know how, it is true power. Using keyword tools one would perform research on what they want to search for and have the keyword tool return results prior to using a search engine. Why not just search with the search engine one time and not this keyword tool thing? One reason is that the keyword tools results will be based on the most commonly searched keywords and key phrases. Some keyword tools will tell you how many times each of these were searched and also provide other variations of the keyword or keyphrase.

The content designer would reap the same rewards by using keyword tools. They would know what people are searching for and in what variations and key phrases they are using. This would prove to be priceless when designing web content and would allow the designer to optimize web content the matches exactly what people are searching for. The perfect marriage.

Keyword tools can be very useful for the web surfer and the web content developer by providing a small view inside of the daily operations of a search engine.

Viral marketing is a methods of list building

There are multiple methods of list building, and if you are just getting started, until you have gained mastery over one or two methods, it is advisable to use multiple methods of list building strategies. You’ll see every step of the process, no matter how small, in exacting detail so

Have you Worked on your SEO Lately?

1) Take 30 minutes each day and find sites with a PR (page ranking) of 3 or higher and swap links.

How do you know a sites PR? Download the Goggle toolbar-it will tell you the pr of every site you land on.

2) Try to get plenty of 1 way links from sites with a PR of 3 or more.

How do you do that? Go to Alexa and type in some of your competitors sites-competitors that have been in business a while-and see who is linking to them. Most likely you will find that a lot of directories are linking to them-that is a one way link. There are 2 types of directories-paid and free. Yahoo offers an excellent directory but you have to pay for it-but it is worth it in the long run for improving your SEO. There are plenty of free directories as well such as DMOZ. Keep in mind that Dmoz is often considered one of the most important directories to submit too and if you haven't submitted your site there yet-DO IT NOW!

3) Write at least 1 400 word article per week and submit to a free article submission service.

Why do this? Because articles offer EXCELLENT one way links back to your site. Also, post the article to your website and to your bog. Article services such as Ezine usually have very high PRs-and if your article is posted there you now have a free one way link to your site.

4) Start Blogging!

And I don't mean on your blog. Lets say you have a fashion oriented site-go out there an find blogs that revolve around fashion and post a statement or two and sign you name and website address. If you go to Yahoo and put into the search bar Pure-Ecommerce one of the first searches is a blog we submitted and posted to.

There is also a service called payperpost. They do all of your blogging for you for a fee per post.

5) Check out your Competitors

This is a no brainer. Lets say your selling NursingWear. Go into Google and type in NursingWear. What sites rank number 1,2,and 3 in the organic listings (these are the listings you DON'T pay for) and study their sites. What are they doing, how much content do they have, take not of their product titles, their category titles, do they have deep links on their front page, etc. Next, go to Alexa.com and type in the company's name. Click on the the link icon-what sites are linking to them. Get the idea?

6) Finally-RENT WORDTRACKER.com

This just makes me so mad. If you are going to own a web business you NEED to know what terms people search on to find you. Don't assume-you need to do the research. This really should be done PRIOR to creating your website and loading your products but most of you are way beyond that-it is not too late though. If you haven't done it rent www.wordtracker.com today for every site you own and understand what terms people type in to find you.

Three Things You Must Do Before You Submit To Article Directories

To all writers and non-writers out there, now is the time to start digging up those creative writing skills. With modern communication technology comes the popularity of information-based marketing, which is one of the oldest and most effective techniques in getting targeted prospects to sites and converting them into buyers. This is

First, let me tell you that you don't need to be a professional article writer to churn out killer articles that make your bank account happy. It's really easy to write a good article when you follow these simple steps.

All you need to do is understanding these four letters: AIDA

What does it mean?

A = attention
I = Interest
D = Desire
A = Action

Now let me explain each of the point above.

1. Attention

You need to write a killer title that stops your visitors and tells him: "read this article right now". For example, if you are trying to sell an ebook that help athletes to run faster, your title could be:

"4 Simple Tricks To Effortlessly And Naturally Always Be In Your State Of Peak Performance."

Do you think that a title like this one will work?

The truth is that you won't know until you split test this headline with a second one a finally find the winner.

2. Interest

Now that you got your visitor's attention, be sure to write an interesting article on the topic. If you are not an expert in your niche market, you have two solutions.

a. You can make a quick search about your topic on Google, and read whatever comes on the first and second page of results.

b. Hire a ghostwriter to carry out the research for you and write the article on your behalf.

3. Desire

Now you want to speak to the readers emotions. You want to put him into the emotional state that will make him click the link in your resource box.

It's not easy. This is an art called copywriting. If you have good copywriting skills, you have what it takes to make full living online.

4. Action

Naturally, this is where you want to lead the reader. You want him to click on the link in the bio box and finally visit your website.

Now that you know the meaning of these four letters, and literally force those who take the time to read your article to your site, you need to understand the marketing and website conversion basics to close the sale.

How I Earn Thousands Of Dollars With Affiliate And Article Marketing And How You Can Do It Too!

Affiliate and article marketing works like crazy for me and I am going to show you exactly what I am doing to earn money with this. It doesn't require a lot of money to start and you can do this on a shoestring. Travis Sago has a system called bum marketing and it's similar to what I am doing except that I take this to a higher level.

The bum marketing method is an article marketing system to promote your affiliate programs via submission sites and classifieds ads websites like usfreeads.com.

All you need to do is to pick up an affiliate programs, research your keywords and write a 300 words keyword rich article with your affiliate link in the bio box.

It works very well, but it's a short term business model. In fact, Travis himself says that this is only the beginning of the whole story. The problem is that you are not building a valuable asset.

What's an asset?

An asset is something you created, It can be an ebook, a website a cd, a dvd set... anything. Every wealthy people on this planet owns one or several assets and if you are not building yours right from the start, you are planning to fail even if you are making an immediate profit. It won't last long.

I developed my own system through trial and errors, and I found it to be very effective in the long run.

It is similar to the bum marketing method, but your use leverage. Your own assets plus other people's asset. This double or triple your article writing efforts and will make you more money in the long run.

Let's see a concrete example of the powerful of this model.

You submit hundreds articles to directories and in the meantime, you build your own website and also feed it with articles.

Plus the articles you are promoting link to this very same site. You are gaining a lot of inbounds links.

Later on, you will be able to make a several figure income in one month. Just imagine that you built several sites and managed to get top rankings? Just head over sitepoint.com and sell them.

If your site earns $1000 a month, you can instantly sell it for $10000 or more. This is only one way to earn money with this system.

You are also building a list that will make you a lot of money if you know the basic of relationship list building.

I am a person who is interested in all aspects of search engine optimisation, web promotion and web marketing. I have to admit that I am a bit of a geek as I love to read through the seo forums. I learn quite a lot from these forums however am also, at times, left feeling a little bemused. I can never quite get my head around the amount of people that criticise article marketing. In this article, I am going to be sticking up for writing articles as a form of website promotion by explaining why I believe article marketing works.

The days of buying links to get you to the top of the search engine rankings has gone. Excessive reciprocal linking has also been banished to the wayside. The importance of obtaining one-way links, links that are not paid for, has never been so apparent.

Writing an article and submitting it to a couple of article directories costs nothing. The article should be around three to find hundred words in length, it should be original and of use to any reader.

I am fully aware that the main links that people gain via article marketing are quite poor, however if you stick with it for long enough, you are bound to obtain a few decent ones as well.

I have been writing and submitting about five articles per week for the last three years now and the results have been quite outstanding.

I am going to continue on this trend and would advise other people to start writing articles as a free and easy way to rise up the rankings. It is quite simple, the more articles you write, the more products you will sell. Good luck and I hope article marketing proves as beneficial to you as it has for me.

This is

The primary purpose of article marketing is to relay a message that you know will be of importance to your recipients. This is the only way that you can measure the efficiency and the success rate of your article - when you know that your article material has reached the people who need your information. It is for this reason that it is being suggested for article marketers to follow the below written guidelines to achieve an effective article marketing scheme.

1. Make sure you understand how the information that you have included on your article can be of use to your readers. When you know the answer to this, you will not then have a difficulty in understanding what sort of information that needs to be included on it. Always consider that the information that you put on it shall be used as a basis to come up with decisions.

2. Make sure that your readers have, to the least, an ample amount of understanding of what you are conveying to them. This means that whatever information that you include on your article, make sure that it is not a total stranger in the perception of the reader. Make sure that a generalized idea or concept is provided somewhere on the contents to promote an air of understand ability.

3. Consider the various types of readers that your article material may be encountering. Significantly, you have to make sure that your article material should be able to adapt with the immense cultural and intellectual differences of the readers. It is only with this that clear understanding of the article material can be achieved.

4. Proactively solicit for any feedback or suggestion that concerns the information that you have included on your article. This will make the writer more competent the next time he writes and all at the same time, it allows for diverse ideas to amalgamate that can produce far better form of information.

I write a lot of articles - so I have developed a system that works really well for me, and allows me to write and submit as many as 20 articles on some days (I average about 7.5 articles per day, but that is usually days of 20-30 and days of zero, but the average for the month is currently about 7.5 articles per working day).

Here's how I do it:

1) I determine how many articles I am going to write today. For example, if it is 10, then I write a list (in a word processor) of ten topics. Then I transform each of the topics into a title. Generally, I do both of those steps at the same time - I just write the topic as a title. That takes about 5 minutes. (By the way, I have a list of about 100 keywords that I have previously researched, plus I have about 25 different categories in ezinearticles that I write articles for, so if I hit a roadblock on topics, I just consult one of those lists; I do not like to spend time on this step).

2) Then I just start writing - one sitting - all ten articles. This is my process for writing each article:

a) I write an introductory sentence that tells the reader something basic about my topic. Then I write a sentence or two either outlining the problem that exists for which I am writing the article to solve, or I will write a sentence explaining why it is so important that I am writing about this topic.

b) I write a series of steps to solve the problem, very similar to this list. Sometimes I use 1,2,3 or a,b,c, and sometimes I use a paragraph for each step.

c) I summarize the steps, or the reason for doing the steps.

d) I consider this step to be one of the most important. I indicate that one of the things that really helps me with this problem is one of the things that I am going to write about in one of the downloads I offer at the end of the article. This provides a transition to my call to action in my bio.

3) I submit one article to the list of directories, then the next article. With the short list of directories, you should get to where it takes no longer than 60 seconds to upload each article.

Viral marketing is a methods of list building

There are multiple methods of list building, and if you are just getting started, until you have gained mastery over one or two methods, it is advisable to use multiple methods of list building strategies. You’ll see every step of the process, no matter how small, in exacting detail so

Today's word is very well familiar with the benefits and necessity of having a website. To Promote your products and services to the world-wide owning a website is the best way.

Is your website really able to attract your visitors as well as search engines also?

Suppose you are having a website that is well designed and having nice and beautiful images on it. So that your visitors come to visit your site and they are fascinated with the look and feel of your site. But this much is not sufficient for your site to become popular and more productive in this cutthroat competitive world.

One more important! Thing is there and you need to be very much careful about it and that's "Search Engines" like - Google, Yahoo, Msn etc...

All these search engine play a big role to get your site well known and popular on the internet. So that visitors from all over the world could see your site and ultimately you could convert those visitors into your clients.

So it's a must to have a website that doesn't attract your visitors only but also the search engines. For this purpose you must have the knowledge of search engines algorithms.

1) How do they crawl your site?
2) How do they rank a web site?
3) What do they like in a site?
4) What they don't like in a site?

But if you don't have any knowledge about search engines algorithms. You don't need to worry! one more way is out there. Now-a-days there are numerous web designing professionals and web development companies on the internet they make this task very much easy for you.

These companies make your site not only user friendly and fascinating but also search engine friendly. These web development companies do the following task for your site:

1) They make your site's structure in this way so that search engine spiders crawl your site regularly. This includes interlinking of all the pages of your site to each other. for this they use broken link tools like xenu. So that any link within your site couldn't break the flow of the website structure.

2) They do keywords optimization for your website. This includes selecting the best keywords for your site and products, generating title tag, meta keywords tag, meta description tag and keywords rich paragraph for all the pages.

3) They do link building also if you need it. This is the most time consuming but important part to promote your site on search engines.

So gird up your loins to promote your website on search engines. For this you will have to choose carefully a web development company that provides both the services web development as well as search engine optimization.

7 Strategies to Choosing an Effective Domain Name

A friend of mine calls me the "Domain Queen", since at one time I owned around 50 domains. I've let many of them go (I own only 22 now) as my business has changed and developed, or I've just simply lost interest in the project. I'm often asked how I go about picking effective domain names, so as the "Domain Queen", I'll share my thought process with you.

1.What's the purpose of the domain name? Are you planning on using this name as the main website for your company, as a one page sales letter site, or squeeze page site? If the domain name will be your primary company website, try and find the closest version to your company name that you can. If you're just starting out, choose your business name and domain name with care. When I started my virtual assistant practice, I chose the name SOHO Business Solutions, as I thought everyone knew that SOHO stood for Small Office, Home Office. I think I've run into 2 people in my 7 years in business who knew what that acronym stood for. If I had it to do over again for this business, I would choose a business name and domain name with virtual assistant in the title, like InternetMarketingVirtualAssistant.com, a name I just recently purchased.

If the purpose of a domain is for a one-page sales letter site or a squeeze page, think ahead as to how you might promote this site. Because content is king in today's internet marketing world, there's little chance that either of these types of sites would be picked up by the search engines on key words. Therefore, your best promotion strategy is PPC, or "pay per click", where you're buying keywords for placement in search engines. If you're buying keywords from Google, for example, the paid listings appear at the top of a search in a blue box, or down the right-hand side of your screen. You want to be sure that the info displayed there is compelling enough to get someone to click and visit your site. So, for example, I've created a squeeze page, GetMoreClientsOnline.com, which has a compelling solution to a common problem that my clients have, as a side door gateway to my OnlineBizCoachingCompany.com coaching website.

2. Brainstorm a list of ideas of the problem you're trying to solve or the solution that you have. A domain name that clearly indicates what you do, or a problem that you solve, or a solution that you have to a problem will give a visitor a fairly clear picture of what s/he'll find on your website. What I typically do is go to my domain registrar, www.UltraNetDomains.com, and just start plugging in the names I'm brainstorming until I come up with 3 or 4 that are available. If the domain name that you type in isn't available, the service will come up with 10 or so alternates for you to consider. I found this alternate listing quite helpful recently in picking the name of an article directory site that I want to create.

3. For SEO (Search Engine Optimization) purposes, it helps to have your keywords in your domain name. Marla Regan, who's a professional organizer, has put two keywords in her domain name, OrganizedTime.com. Retirement Coach Lin Schreiber has her keyword niche in her domain, RevolutionizeRetirement.com. Consultant John Reddish has the desired outcome keywords in his domain, GetResults.com. I own a domain that I haven't yet developed for house sitters, BecomeAHouseSitter.com. Before buying your domain, make a list of keywords that someone might use to find you online. This list could include your industry, your target market or niche, a problem your target market has, or a solution that you can offer.

4. Shorter is better, if it's to be your primary domain. I haven't always followed my own rules here, as I tend to have business names that are quite lengthy. If the domain name is going to be your primary domain where your primary email address will be housed, you want your domain name to be as short, catchy, and memorable as possible. After a few times of spelling out your lengthy email address, you'll come to appreciate the beauty of a short domain name. Your domain name can contain up to 67 letters and numbers, although I would encourage you not to have one of this length, and can contain no special characters other than hyphens.

5. Purchase your your given name as a domain name. I typically tell my clients not to try and brand their given name as their business name, as that takes many years, much money, and lots of hard work to have the name recognition of Oprah, for example. However, it still pays to purchase your given name as a domain name, as well as any common misspellings of your name. Many people think my name is Donna Gunther, with an "h" in the last name, but I've been unable to register that common misspelling of my name, as a photographer in Venice, CA, has owned in since 2000. Once you've purchased your name as a domain, you can redirect it to your primary website. This means that when someone types in a domain, they land at the website to which you pointed that domain. So, currently DonnaGunter.com redirects to OnlineBizCoachingCompany.com because I don't want to use my name as a website, although that might change in the future.

6. Buy the .COM version of the name if it is available. When people hear a domain name, they "hear" .COM whether it's .NET or .BIZ or .ORG or whatever. So, it pays to find a domain name that you like that is part of the .COM family. If you just can't get the name you want, try a hyphenated version of the .COM name. For example, when I was seeking a domain name for my Self-Employment Coaching Gym, I really wanted SelfEmploymentSuccess.com, but it wasn't available. However, Self-Employment-Success.com was available, so I grabbed that. Many SEO specialists state that search engines like hyphenated names, and many online business owners use hyphenated keywords in their domain names to be more attractive to search engines. I don't have a clear answer as to the validity of this theory, so I just advocate going this route before having to resort to the .NET or .BIZ of the name you desire. Some domain name holders may be willing to sell you the domain name that you want. You can find out who owns a domain name by checking the WhoIs Registry at Internic, http://www.internic.net/whois.html. For info about country codes (two-letter) top-level domains (.UK or .CA, for example) visit http://www.uwhois.com/cgi/domains.cgi?User=NoAds

7. Consider owning other versions of your primary domain name. If you are registering the .COM version of a domain for your business, you may also want to secure variations of the name, alternate spellings, common misspellings, and the .NET and .ORG versions of your domain and repoint them to your main site to keep them out of the hands of your competitors. You can also go broke very quickly by purchasing all of these variations, so exercise some restraint in your purchases and don't go crazy with purchasing every single variation of your domain name. For my coaching company site, I own both the OnlineBizCoachingCompany.com and OnlineBusinessCoachingCompany.com and decided that was good enough.

Your domain name is the beginning of the establishment of your presence online, Take some time and put some thought into the process so that the domain name serves you well in the years to come, and is an effective tool for helping you get more clients online.

This is

Each week I receive dozens of article submissions to my websites from aspiring authors, website owners, and entrepreneurs embarking on a new article marketing campaign. Most of the time, I can only use a small fraction of the content I receive because people writing articles make one of the crucial article marketing mistakes listed below.

KEY POINT: When you submit articles to a newsletter/ezine publisher or a website owner as part of your article marketing campaign, you have to remember that they aren't going to publish YOUR article for THEIR customers and visitors unless it is high quality content that gives something of value.

If you're writing articles like crazy as part of your article marketing, but getting very few of them actually published, then you might want to re-evaluate your approach. Are you making one of these crucial article marketing mistakes?

1. Poor Subject Matter:

If you're going to bother writing articles, write about something that people are interested in reading about. In other words, address a problem and provide a solution within your content. This is your best bet when in comes to article marketing. Content pieces that approach an old problem in a new way or with a new twist work well too -- you don't have to necessarily discover a whole new problem that no one else has ever though of before (If you discover a whole new problem and have the solution you better be thinking of product creation not just an article marketing!).

2. Write With Personality:

No one likes to read text books. Put a little of your own personality into your article marketing and make your content engaging and entertaining as well as informative. If you have a sense of humor, use it.

3. Write For Your Audience:

Don't distribute content about the value of protein in the American diet to a Russian Political website or the publisher of a podiatry newsletter... They don't care.

4. Write A Decent Sized Article:

Most publishers would rather an article be a little bit too long than very short. Four hundred word articles just don't have enough meat in them. Don't ramble when you're writing articles, but you've got to provide some details if you want to be published.

5. Break Up Your Article: When writing articles, don't use three long paragraphs. Break it up into smaller paragraphs with a few single lines, bullets, etc. to make it easier and more enjoyable to read. Again -- no one likes to read text books.

6. Spell Check And Grammar:

If you're writing articles as part of a serious article marketing campaign, then you've got to spell check. No one will publish your content if it's full of spelling and grammar errors.

7. Don't Write A Sales Letter: No one will publish an article that reads like a sales letter... period. Article marketing isn't about selling, it's about pre-selling.

8. Forget About Affiliate Links:

Use your head... why would anyone use your content article if it's full of your own affiliate links? Ever hear of the "Golden Rule?" It applies to article marketing too. Would you publish another writer's article if it were full of his affiliate links? I doubt it.

9. Create A Reasonable Resource Box:

A resource box should tell me who you are, what you do, and how I can get in touch with you. It's not unlimited advertising space for you to describe every website you run and each product you sell. Article marketing is about providing content, not advertising. That "Golden Rule" thing applies to resource boxes too.

10. Only Write About What You Know:

Even if you're writing articles based on opinion, get your facts straight. Don't write content filled with advice that you have no business giving... it will hurt your article marketing campaign.

If you take nothing else away from this discussion, remember that a good article writing campaign always answers "What's in it for me?"

When you're writing articles to send to newsletter and website publishers, you have to answer that question on two fronts...

What's in it for the publisher? Why should they show your content to their customers and visitors? Does it give something of value?

-- AND --

What's in it for the people who will ultimately be reading your article when it's published?

After all, the idea behind article marketing is to provide some worthy content that compels readers to visit your site, subscribe to your newsletter, or buy your product.

Article marketing can be extremely lucrative... but you've got to do it right.

Viral marketing is a methods of list building

There are multiple methods of list building, and if you are just getting started, until you have gained mastery over one or two methods, it is advisable to use multiple methods of list building strategies. You’ll see every step of the process, no matter how small, in exacting detail so

One of the things I hear from many new article writers is that they are not getting very many visitors to their website(s) or blog(s). Sometimes they are so discouraged they are thinking about giving up.

When this is happening, there are several things that need to be checked in order to identify the problem. Here are some of the questions to ask:

Does the article have a compelling title that pulls the reader into the article?

Does the article read well and give good information?

Is the article structured in such a way as the reader can flow through the article to the resource box?

Does the resource box have a compelling offer that makes it a no-brainer for the reader to click through to your web site or blog?

These are all questions to ask to help you identify where the problem may be. If all of these factors are working well and together, you can then rule them out.

The only remaining problem is the most common problem of brand new article writers and marketers - not enough articles. This is a numbers game. The higher your article volume, the higher all your other numbers are going to be.

So the solution to not having enough articles is to write more articles. Don't be like those people that write just a few articles and then say (or whine) "article marketing doesn't work." Article marketing works great, it's those whiners that do not work.

Keep a working list of article ideas. When you think of a good idea, write it down. When it is time to write an article, go to your idea list and grab one. Work up to where you are writing an article a day on average.
