The reason, why the results are different is, that these two engines, which gets around 70 % of all searches, follow their own rules, algorithms, when they put the sites in a certain order and when they will decide how many pages they will display on the search result pages.

But the experts recommend that the url should include the related and generic keyword. Both engines see the keyword in the url to be important and Yahoo even as one of its main optimization factors.

The keyword rich url is important because some web sites put the domain as a backlink, so the keyword rich domain works as an anchor text, which is important especially for Google.

3. Put Keywords Into The Meta Tags And Into The Copy.

Link popularity is now considered by most search engines to be one of the most important factors that determine a site's ranking in the search engines. Lets assume that we have two identical websites. One has hundreds of sites linking to it while the other only has a few incoming links. Which website will have the higher ranking? Of course, it will be the site with hundred of incoming links.

The challenge is, how do you find reciprocal link partners?

First of all, you need know what business nature you are into and what type of web sites would link to your site. Here are some examples of sites and the types of sites that would link to them. We should look for sites that are on the same subject matter, but not necessarily similar.

There are typically two methods to look for these websites:
1) First, we need to find the topics from popular search engine (e.g. Yahoo and Google) that you are going into. Get into the directorys home page and search with the keywords, pet lover. After which, you will just need to click on the category the top listings belong to. The sites listed in these and related categories are the types of sites you need to contact.

2) Use the search engines to find sites that link to your competitors' web sites. This is probably a more efficient method of find reciprocal link partners, than searching the directories. Get to your search engine and search for your keyword. You could add in directory, search engine, links, and resources behind your keyword while searching. After finding these sites, you will start to have your list. You should create a links or resources page and add links to the sites on that page.

After you've done that, link to that page from your home page. If you have hundreds of links, split the pages into different sub-categories. When you're done, upload the pages to your server. After which, you could start to contact each site by informing them that you have linked to their site and request a link in return. Don't forget to be polite and inform them of the benefits of exchanging links.

Some of the web sites, such as web directories, will not require a reciprocal link. So simply submit your link.

1) You need to write consistently

One of the most overlooked factors of article marketing is that you need to write consistently. A minimum of 3 articles a day to see any decent results. If you are not doing this then you are going to end up struggling. The higher the number of articles the more subscribers you will have and the greater the number of sales as well.

4) Maximize your autoresponder sequence
